Government Contracting & Capabilities

On-Site Acoustic Testing, LLC (OSAT) provides independent acoustic, RF shielding, noise and vibration field testing for U.S. government agencies, military installations, defense contractors and prime contractors. We support secure facilities and mission-critical buildings throughout the United States and internationally.

OSAT provides independent measurement and verification rather than selling soundproofing products, shielding systems or installation services. Our work supports design and construction review, commissioning and acceptance, troubleshooting, remediation verification and retesting.

Secure-Facility Acoustic Testing and Acceptance Support

OSAT performs SCIF, SAPF and VTC acoustic testing supporting ICD 705-related construction and accreditation requirements. Services include field assessment of doors and building assemblies, sound isolation measurement, investigation of flanking paths and penetrations, corrective-action support and independent retesting.

  • SCIF acoustic testing and sound isolation verification
  • Sound Group 3 and Sound Group 4 project criteria assessment where specified
  • SCIF door acoustic testing, troubleshooting and remediation verification
  • Field measurement, documentation and acceptance-testing support
  • Speech privacy and speech intelligibility testing

OSAT documents measured results against the applicable project specifications and test methods; final acceptance and accreditation decisions remain with the responsible authorities.

RF Shielding and Specialized Testing

OSAT provides RF shielding effectiveness field testing, including IEEE 299-related measurement programs when specified, as well as acoustic, environmental noise and vibration assessment for occupied and mission-critical facilities.

  • RF shielding effectiveness, attenuation and continuity-related verification
  • Building acoustics: field sound isolation and impact isolation testing
  • Mechanical-equipment, data-center and environmental noise studies
  • Vibration testing, investigation and monitoring
  • Field reports, measured findings and retest documentation
